Hey guys! So I made a tofu smoothie but I wanted to know how do you prepare your smoothies and what do you put on them. You didn't press your tofu before using it?


Tofu tends to have water in it on its own. So you tend to no matter soft or not have to press the tofu, to get out all the old water out, and then put it in a bath of new water to give it a fresh taste. But I'll try it with pressing my tofu.

It looks so yummy and I want to make some for me and DH. I also heard that strawberry tofu smoothies is good in losing weight. I am in 6 weeks diet now and I want to lose more weight and I found this post because I'm searching for strawberry tofu smoothies.

  • 2-1/2 cups (625 mL) vanilla soy milk
  • 2 cups (500 mL) frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) cubed soft (silken) tofu
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) vanilla

  • Preparation

    In blender, purée together soy milk, strawberries, tofu, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
    Additional information :
    Blueberry Tofu Smoothie: Replace strawberries with frozen blueberries.
