Just came off a one week business trip right into 14 hour days and am still weighing in the same without being able to go to the gym! So keep me the same, and I'll be back in the gym, maybe to shed the last few.

is it too late in the year to join? If not, how does this system work and may I join? I would like to loose 15 lbs for a weight of 135. I'm going away October fifth and I'd like to be there before I leave, if you know what I mean... :P

Yep, still hanging in there. I figured it took several years to put on the weight it may take a year or two to take it off. I am actully down to the last 2 lbs, but they aren't budging.....yet.

wow Seasiren, its still very impressive, you've done well, I'd say. My big worry is the yoyo phenomenon; of all the things in the world to be scared of; gaining weight is the biggest of my fears, how sad is that? I think its because its the most likely.

what routines or "systems" do you guys follow to loose weight? I'm following aerobic walking videos because once i hit "play" i won't turn it off until its done; its like leaving a fitness class early, i just can't do it.

I also hear carmen electras fit-to-strip videos are realy good, and mighty entertaining

For me it had to be something I could easily incorporate into my life for the rest of my life.

I have cut WAY down on processed foods. I eat 4-5 times per day. I eat single serving meals and wait 20 min to see if I am still hungry. I exercise alternating between cardio and weight lifting about 5 times per week. I take a daily vitamin to be sure I get all my vitamins throughout the day which means I feel less starved (cuts cravings) and my body won't cling to any empty calories.

If I miss a day I don't beat myself up, just continue from there. I can enjoy cook out and birthday parties without guilt as I can now tell approx where I am on my daily calorie / fat intake.

It has been 7 months now and I can fit in a size 4

The last two lbs are clinging to my waist area and I am working on a higher muscle vs lower fat ratio. I am so close, I can smell it.

This is something I can easily continue and will continue whether or not those last few lbs ever decide to leave.

Well, I won't be winning any awards this week. I added (in a bad way) 2.5%. Looks like that takes me down to -66.25%.

6% lost this week I believe. I

ts hard to tell because my scale isn't digital, and the little lines are all so close together. I'm not going to go buy my own scale though, that would just be a waste fo money :P

Hopefully next week will be more dramatic.

That being said, I was so excited all week because i was sure i'd be down by 12-18% but alas, the pb and chocolate soycreme i had last night probably defeated any chances of posting a number i could brag about.

bah....I'm gonna go drink some black coffee and go for a jog :P later!

Sorry I forgot to post! I was in the process of moving a family member out and moving a friend in. It was a buuusy week, and I didn't have access to the computer for a few days (I sorta, uh, messed up the passwords and had to use a password recovery program). I still went to the gym and ate fairly well, I think, but I won't know until Saturday if I have lost anything for the past two weeks (I only weigh myself on Sat and I forgot last week).
