Anybody have anything good or critical to say about Brendan Brazier's Thrive series?

Have you read? Have you used them? Is there one I should read first?

It looks like the local bookstore isn't carrying it so I'd have to order online. I wanted to see what others' thoughts were before ordering.

Have you checked out the look inside feature on Amazon?

It's got a lot.
I feel too fat and guilty to read it right now.

I have his Thrive cookbook and use it regularly. Both my husband and I are vegan and have upped our exercise this year so making doubly sure ensure we each nutrient rich has become even more important.

I am in Australia and have found some of the ingredients difficult or expensive to buy however for the most part I can find suitable replacements. We hosted a dinner party with non vegan friends only using recipes in the book and everyone said they enjoyed the food with 3 people asking for copies of the soup recipe.

Love Brendan Braizer, I personally read The Thrive Diet first. Explains lots about the nutrition, couldn't put it down the concept just makes perfect sense.

Hm. I'm not so sure about his books now.

The pictures I've seen of him don't look that great. He looks skinny rather than athletic... Or maybe I'm just looking at the wrong stuff?

He Does look a little smaller, but there is a book he wrote as well for the athletic side of it. How his research shows that this is the fastest way to recover your muscles from excersizing and so on.

the books by brendan brazier and robert cheeke are what i used to refine my diet over the past few years. i do contribute them with giving me my final push towards raw veganism and giving me so much more energy, which i have plenty of and i do ironman and ultra marathons.

I think that vegan or not Brendan Brazier would be a pretty lean guy.

Yeah, these are much better pictures than what I was looking at.

The pictures I saw made it appear as if he didn't have much lean muscle.
