I want to learn some dance routines, like thriller and Drill, is their anyone else out there that would love to learn these routines?

oh ya, then post yourself dancing what ya learned,,,

I have found it to be very hard to learn, I just don't have that talent, but I;m going to do this anyway..You can get any routine ya want to learn on youtube for free..

This is a great way to have fun, stay in shape in the winter feel good about learning those really cool dance routines

anybody want to take the challenge?

I actually learned the Thriller dance a few years ago in a Dance class at university. It was really fun, I just wish we had videotaped all 20 of us doing the dance.

I also loved learning things like the electric slide, mc hammer dance, etc. quite fun for a 1 credit class.

I am a teacher and I love teaching these choreographed dances to my students. Even the reluctant kids start to really enjoy PE class.
We will be learning the Black Eyed Peas dance ... the flash mob dance... in April/May

I'd love to learn some new dance moves. Some people seem to be able to just watch other people, and then do a pretty good copy of what they've seen, right away. I can't do that. I like to see the whole thing broken down into small parts, and learn each small part, then, later, put them all togeher. Once I finally put all the pieces together - I like to think I move with good poise, expressivity.

I absolutely agree with you that dancing is "a great way to have fun, stay in shape in the winter feel good about learning those really cool dance routines."

Unfortunately I don't have a video camera, otherwise I'd be glad to record video of my moves, for y'all to see.

I love Latin music and I want to learn some Latin dance.

I do bellydance and American Tribal style bellydance. However, the choreographies are not my main motivation, I love the improvisation! Seriously, there's nothing like a beautiful Arabic piece to get me up and dancing. I'm in love with the earthy, contained baladi style.

I took an Irish Dance class last night with a friend. The soft-shoe work was pretty fun- It was the first Irish reel I've learned, and I'm sure there are ones with more complicated moves, but I had a blast. As far as other dance, I enjoy Bollywood inspired dance, bellydance, hula and polynesian dance... these are all from dvds. This weekend I plan on taking my first Bellydance class, and I'm sure I'll have a good time with it.

Oooh, good luck! Bellydance is lots of fun, although the isolation of bodyparts takes some getting used to. I hope you'll have a blast!

I take Musical Theatre classes (just dance) and we do routines from musicals like Grease, Hairspray, Chicago etc. It's so much fun, I recommend to anyone! The actual moves are usually quite easy, you just do them fast. I think some show dance classes do routines from music videos etc, so you might want to look up a dance school that does show dance and ask what those classes consist of exactly.

Hi everyone

I danced from the age of 7 till way into my late 20's. Its such a great way to stay in shape and express yourself.

I did modern and hip hop some salsa and zumba...

I would love to do introduction classes to adult ballet. Its just a hell of expensive here in Cape Town.

Must admit very lazy as well lately as walking /running my puppy which is now 7 months is as much exercise as I need.
