I'm having issues

hey I've been vegetarian now for weeks.. my body wasn't breaking meats well so i broke up with them lol... well i have been having issues with going potty... i feel like i need to go and nothing comes out. I'm actively breastfeeding and I'm wondering if I'm just burning through everything and that is why.. I'm very bloated and gassy so I'm not a happy camper!

Moar water, nerdgirl! Congrats on your new baby! it often takes the bowels a while to settle down after the birth. Extra fluids, try to get some sleep (i know, I know...) and eat regularly and enough. Lucky baby to be a breastfed one!

You need drink plenty of water. Obesity always occurs due to the deficiency of water in body.

No, obesity is mainly caused by excess calorie consumption, and lack of physical activity.

How recently did you give birth? My little one is almost nine weeks old and I'm still not pooping normally! 😱 A stool softener and laxative might help, also a diet high in fiber and, as others mentioned, lots of water. Constipation is awful, isn't it? I wish you luck!

NWJ, try some probiotics. I would recommend using them daily for months, switching types. All those antibiotics they gave you in the hospital play havoc with your intestinal flora. And the surgery itself is traumatizing to the bowel.

Food wise, fruit is always good, cooked fruit if you need very mild, and easy grains like brown rice and oatmeal. Lots of water.

How is your babe? Moar pictures

Thanks, I'll look into that!

Dylan's fine. He's sitting next to me right now, making a grumpy face:

Here we are with my mother-in-law.
