anyone have any plans yet?

I just can not wait, I'm taking a trip to colorado, then am going to be moving to austin (cool town, really veg friendly!) so will just probably do what I did last summer (new town last summer also) which is swim, and read. I am going to try to teach myself to read latin and play the trombone!

Latin is AMAZING!

I'm going to do a summer workshop at the college I want to go to. It has to do with game programming. I'm going with a friend to see if we can stand each other for four weeks. We're thinking about being room mates in college and so it's like a test run :]

I'm going to Spain for a little over two weeks. That should be fun!

I am also probably going to go to our family lake house in Idaho, Texas to visit family, Kansas City, KS to shop and visit more family, and maybe Chicago.

Other than that, I will just be training my horse, riding my bike, and reading.

I can't wait! I miss my grandparents so MUCH, and during the summer I get to go back to France and visit them. When I used to live in France, I didn't realize how lucky I was to be able to see my grandparents on the weekend.

Yay!! 7 more weeks So excited!! So, yeah, summer plans. Traveling to various countries in Western Europe, starting a vegetable garden, lots and lots of sleep, amusement parks and roller coasters, lounging with my parakeet around the house, etc. etc. So exciting! I can't wait for school to end

Everyone sounds like they're doing fun stuff! I love summer and can not wait

In a couple weeks we're going white water rafting (my first time), then camping at a friends farm, and hopefully get some beach camping in before the end of July. We like to get outside

Not too much planned other than that yet but we're going to pack in as much stuff as we can since it looks like we will be moving sometime before next summer.

I'm going to Spain (Ibiza but Spain sounds better) with my parents, brother and some family friends and their two boys.

Also I think I'm going to London for a bit and camping in the lake district with my friends. Theres a Dr Who exhibition on in London .

I'll probably go backpacking for two weeks, and then spend most of the summer volunteering (tutoring/playing with little kids ) I'm considering doing a biology program in Mexico, but the vegan options would be extremely limited.

Summer to-do list: (in no particular order really)

1) Work.

2) Work.

3) Work.

4) Go to see my great aunt and various extended family in North Carolina. (Insert beach here)

5) Go to Niagara Falls/Windsor. (Insert gambling and drinking here)

6) Go down to visit my boyfriend/friends in Athens. (insert debauchery here)

7) Go to Chicago to visit my friend (including debauchery).

8) Get ready for round two of dorm life/the big college transfer.

9) Find a good road bike, and ride as much as possible.

10) Spend time with my friends from home, having bonfires as many nights a week as possible.

The list is subject to modification, but generally this is my plan.

Latin is too easy. If your going to go through the trouble of teaching yourself a new language, i would say make it more.. hm.. useful. But really, latin is ridiculously easy.

Im working.

And taking a 30 hour drivers ed course.

And buying a car.

Tentative summer plans... hm...

*jog, bike, kayak, trail ride, bringing my standard poodle, Jasmine, with me at all times

*train for Nordic skiing... intense training sessions every day in the morning, but almost all of my best friends are doing it so yay

*work; excersize jockey for polo ponies, which is really really really fun and pays well. in June and part of July only

*hopefully get Jazz's therapy dog certificate and visit peoples

*travel w/ parents to Australia (business trip 4 dad)

*travel w/ mom to Italy

*travel w/ friends to Florida on conservation mission

*hang out w/ friends!!

...and probably lots of other stuff I forgot.

I'm going to Boston, which I'm really excited about because I've never been there and it seems like there's a lot of interesting stuff to do. And I read about an all-vegan pizzaria (sp?) there, which sounds really cool.

Other than that, not much. . . hanging out with friends, hopefully finding a job, and possibly starting on college applications and such.

Become highly conversational in Spanish, play with my pet birds, maybe breed them, run a marathon, cook lots of vegan yummies, take a philosophy class, and have lots of playdates. Man, I can't wait!

School is becoming really tiresome.
