I love concerts! It's so much easier to go to them now that I'm at school in the city.

Clapton with Robert Cray... FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

April 21: Mike Perkins (a local Columbus performer)

June (sometime near the end): Comfest, this sweet 3 day music/arts festival in Columbus

and July 15.... DISPATCH AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN!!

There will probably be other random ones too; my roommate and I decide randomly that we need to see concerts, which is easy because a lot of great artists play small venues here.

Is anyone going (or in my case dreaming of going) to Bonnaroo? If so, I'm totally jealous. I'm dying to see Tool (not to mention the other 34723974235 sweet artists) but with the NY concert trippage I will be without the resources.

My past concert attendances have included...

Yanni

Dave Matthews Band, once with O.A.R. and once with G-Love and Special Sauce

Coldplay with Rilo Kiley

Comfest (lots of local music)

O.A.R. with Jack's Mannequin

Jack's Mannequin (who I really don't care for, SoCo was better, but the concert was free)

Ben Kweller with Sam Roberts Band and The Hymns

Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Langhorne Slim

The Rapture with Under The Influence Of Giants

RJD2 with Bus Driver and Happy Chichester

The cool side of my job was seeing the Dixie Chicks and Red Hot Chili Peppers with Mars Volta... and the bad side was Streisand and cleaning the star rooms in the wake of Rockstar Supernova.

I saw all them too when they came to my city! It was amazing! Ben Kweller is amazing. I met him afterwards. He signed my shoe. I was, like, giddy.

Ahh Kweller... He signed my t-shirt and I was also giddy. And Clapton was sweet last night! Just when you think you'll never wanna hear "Layla" again, he busts out some new and crazy improv and all is then right in the world.

I don't go to concerts, well I have been to a few....its kinda boring and I'm not much of a crowd person. I'm not saying that its bad or anything, certain people just enjoy certain things. I'm just not a concert person.
