I put stevia in my coffee too! That's all I use. I only use half a packet for 16oz coffee because stevia is 400x sweeter than sugar!

Hmm, that's more than I eat in a day if we're looking at meal sizes, but I snack on fruit and veg all through the day. Is it a certain time of day you're getting hungry?

Today I've had-

Breakfast: Small bowl of cereal with soy milk and a quick swig of strawberry and banana smoothie.

Snacks: An apple and a fruit bar.

Lunch: Chopped up pepper, cucumber, carrot, mixed together with hummus and put in some brown bread. It was a bit of an experiment but tasted great

Dinner: Will be lentil stew, with potatos, leeks, carrots and shallots and maybe some dumplings if I manage to cook them properly.

Then I'll be having fruit inbetween and maybe another small bowl of cereal if I'm peckish this evening.

Have you read some of my previous posts? I eat an entire grocery store a day! (And the other night I downed a pint of Tofutti Wildberry Supreme- it had a little neon sign on it that said "Eat me. All of me. Right now. Really fast." ) Seriously, copared to me, and most people I know, you don't eat too much at all. Just enough.

Meal one- Leftover piece of raw bannana-cranberry pie with a walnut crust from a couple of nights ago.

Meal two- Baked yellow pepper sliced and put on top of chopped spinach and cranberries.

Meal three- (Currentley making) Bannana-cranberry-cornmeal pancakes. (My grocery store is currentley suffering from a bannana and cranberry famine. )

Not sure what I'm going to have later today.

Don't use this thread as a guide to how much you should be eating.

Some of us are dieting, some of us have problems with our food (Calories = EVIL!), some of us just haven't being feeling hungry lately. In short, everyone's different, and you could end up getting yourself down by thinking you're eating far too much, when actually, you're not really.

As far as I can tell, there's nothing wrong with your diet. Sure beats my 6-month-long diet of slim-a-soups and rice cakes. ^^

As for my 'eatings', it's 7:30am, so all I've had is...

Breakfast: Bowl of Porridge w/ soy milk and an Apple

Yes, well some of us are recovering from eating disorders.

So far today (it's only 8:14 AM ^.^) a homemade vegan muffin. I'm going to Trader Joe's today (very excited ) so I'll edit this post when I get home, but for later today I'm planning on eating a whole wheat pita with hummus, maybe some grape leaves, and a big pot of minestrone soup among other things (read: lots of smoothies ).

Edit-

Meal two- Dry cereal.

Meal three- Falafel, hummus, pita bread and something that I can't spell. It had parsley or something in it... maybe tomatoes? Hah... Anyways, I didn't finish all of it. Very filling.

Meal four- Mango-Strawberry smoothie made with blueberry juice. Trader Joe's flaxseed chips. Piece of vegan chocolate.

Meal five- An experiment- could've gone better, but I'll try to improve it next time- sundried tomato tortillas fried and then shaped to form cripy "bowls" filled with a stew-like thing made with tomato soup, veggie sausage, peppers, onions and mango. Interesting. Piece of vegan chocolate and a fruit leather.

Is that all you ate for the day? Because if that is, then that is a starvation post which is not allowed.

No starvation posts, please.

Seems like a normal amount of food to me!! As long as you're basically maintaining the same weight (unless you want to gain/lose) I wouldn't worry about it! Eat up

Couple slices irish soda bread (vegan) with margarine (not)

Strawberry Lime pancakes (vegan)

Two slices avacado-strawberry-banana-lime pie (raw vegan)

A couple pullaparts of cheese Onion Pullapart bread (my goodness, I can't believe I did that. Ew.)

Quite a bit of maple-nut oatmeal crisp, straight out of the box (vegan)

Tossed green salad with ranch dressing (not)

Samosa with mango chutney (no idea- restaurant food)

A terribly junky day, for somebody who's given up 'junk food' until Easter. *shrugs* I'll do better tommorow, gotta get more raw fruits and veggies in.

I'm a new veggie (lacto-vegitarian) and I just wanted to know if I'm balanced enough with the foods I'm eating.

(I'll post what I'm eating tomorrow for b and l)

B - either oatmeal (if I like it) or cereal, 2 pieces of toast, milk, some sort of fruit

L - cheese sandwich w/ baby lettuce, mustard, pickle on some sort of roll (it amazes me how my family runs out of wheat bread in less than 2 DAYS! -.-),

granola, strawberries (I am obsessed with them =D), carrots with some ranch, water or whatever I can find at science challenge

D - Don't know yet

Snacks - probably fruit and something junky

I don't like nuts (like any sort of nuts unless they're small and I can't taste them...). Is there anything else that I could substitute for them? Could I eat granola instead?
