Hey everyone,

I just thought this would be interesting. In getting to know each other more I think this would be a good way. Say your name, age, If your vegetarian, vegan raw foodist, whatever; and don't forget to note how long you been vegan/fruitarian you know.

Planning to go vegan eventually, but it won't be until I'm at least 18 because my parents won't let me until then

They think it's impossible to get proper nutrition and that all vegans are crazy fanatics. The only thing that will change when I turn 18 is that they won't be able to stop me anymore.

{weird name}

age: 16

strict veg/ vegan since Sept. '04. kind of complicated.. i don't eat meat/dairy/eggs/honey ever by themselves and won't eat anything with any of that in it.. BUT i will if it would be wasted otherwise/ i'm not adding to the cruelty (like if I know that no more will be bought if i eat it) for instance, there's this Honey Comb cereal my mom bought a while ago.. and they're getting stale because no one's eating them so I'll eat it. obviously no one likes them so it won't be bought again. those kind of situations.) so technically i'm strict vegetarian since i will consume this stuff once in awhile. doesn't matter the reason for eating it as far as the label vegan goes.

Hey AnnikaBaanaica,

I know some people on the forum might not mind but your avatar even though its not showing "that much" can be very dangerous. You probably should'nt be doing that kinda thing. I'm not trying to be nosey and forgive me if I'm being a newsense but that kinda thing can be dangerous.

I am exactly the same as you! I know what u mean,my family wouldnt really get it if I turned Vegan,plus Im sure my mum would have something to say about the cooking.

Im just waiting till I become more independant,then she wont have anything to say about it
