Hah "A crow left of the Murder" is such a wayyyy cool cd.

My favourite song of it is "Sick sad little world"

Wasn't worth paying an extra $9 for the bonus dvd though.. Their DVD's are always really short.. and it sucks the way that it takes forever all the time, and just keeps going back to the menu.

Actually, it is Davey and Jade that are Vegan and sxe. If you look on Davey's left bicept he's got two praying hands with an X on them. I just saw them in concert, the kick ass! Hunter and Adam are vegetarian and realy awesome guys.

Other veggie bands/artists:

Michael Stipe, REM (his family is sooo nice, I've grown up with them)

The Beastie Boys

Paul Macartney

Bryan Addams (LOVE his love songs!)

Goldfinger

Good Charlotte

Rage Against the Machine

Maybe Ani Difranco?

Other bands I like that I didn't see mentioned: HIM, Placebo, David Bowie, Seven Nations, Clandestine, Neil Anderson, U2, Kill Hannah, T-Rex, Blue October, Josh Groban (yes, I'm a loser), NIN and Sting.

all I have to say is, you like the Bauhaus and Joy Division, YOU ROCK!!! (I like the Smiths and The Cure too!)

EDIT: Davey Havok of AFI has had to go on vocal rest, so they're canceling the rest of their tour dates. Isn't that terrible? I hope he gets well soon!

wesely willis died awhile ago of complications with his schizophrenia, he was 40. Just had to say that because now you can't travel 3+ hours to see him And the Pixies are having a reuinion tour, starting this year at Coachella! sorry im a loser. The Cure just released a 4 cd box set with over 64 songs, called CONNECT THE DOTS, RARIETIES AND B-SIDES. Virus just broke up and will finish the tour they are on right now with Unseen and then that's it. Did you know Billy Idol was in Bahaus for a little while, while one of their guitar players was super pissed off and them? it was only like 2 months but hey. The Buzzcocks lost the rhythum guitarist, and they just recently had a tour with the replacement guy, and they rocked hardcore. hey almost veg, check out my posts. T-Rex and David Bowie are both there! NIN was good around Pretty Hate Machine and such. I wish they put out albums faster, instead of every 5 years. Le Tigre is not going through America on their tour, only Europe. Maybe next year or next album or something. Small Brown Bike broke up too. Josh Groban was mentioned once by Fafa Frappy. I think im addicted to music, so i comb through everything very carefully. Sorry if i make it seem like you guys are blind for not seeing these bands/people etc etc. Check out the Belle and Sebastion refrence in High Fidelty! A awesome music movie is SCHOOL OF ROCK, you all should check it out, no matter what your musical tastes are. www.mushycat.com has a great selection of Band pins/stickers. Anyone who has info on why badrash.com isnt working would be greatly apperciated to. Zach De La Rocha was at the Miami protest, did you know that?

Ok thats all for now. I am a database of useless information.

Rebel Girl

oh and Bikini Kill still plays some extremly under advertised shows. But no cameras/reviews allowed. Greatness.

Ok im done now.

Right now, I'm almost living exclusively on a diet of dire straits, no doubt and nirvana.

Now the dire straits are damn cool. Tunnel of love is one hell of a great song.

I was so bummed when I heard about AFI. Me hopes Davey is ok. Oh and recently i've been getting into the Violent Femmes again. I used to walk around singing their songs as a child. I was an odd child indeed.

Davey doesnt have a cypst. Just a really bad infection. It seems like from what people on the AFI boards are saying that he'll be out a couple months getting better(but you can never tell from those boards). Which will delay there new CD some, but the important thing is that he gets better.

I listen to what most of you don't. The modern day equivelant of Phil Ochs, David Rovics. A folk artist here from Boston, MA, U.S.. Music like his was a contributing factor to who I am today, what some might call a modern day hippie. (Minus the drugs that some people think of when they hear hippie) I also listen to Evan Greer and Ethan Miller, and a few others.

My favorite band right now is the Strokes. I'm in love with Fabrizio Moretti, the drummer

I also like the White Stripes, the Hives, the Vines, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jet... you know, those raw, unprocessed types of rocky bands. Others are Brand New, Less than Jake (might go and see them next month!), Pedro the Lion, Jets to Brazil... okay, everything on Jade Tree Records... But when I'm in a more contemplative mood, I like to listen to Norah Jones and Fiona Apple.
