Since my first thread on this was hijaked and closed, I'll start a new one.

Things are looking up!

Yesterday I was looking on the internet, and I found a moms & toddlers group that meets once a week in a church RIGHT next door to my husband's work. Since he and I share a car, this works out great for us, I can drive him to work and then go to the group. It's free (HOORAY!) and meets on Wednesday mornings, so I went today. And I had such a great time!

I've also started going to my library's "baby & me" storytime on Tuesdays (only a 30 minute walk each way.) And then on Thursdays I have the wonderful mom's group at the Community College that I had already been going to.

Suddenly my week doesn't seem so empty!

I hope this thread isn't highjacked by some petty bickering like the other one was. That would be a shame to have it happen twice.

Must. Stop. Laughing.

Back OT. Colorful - I'm planning on joining a MOPS group at my church. The libraries are a good idea as well. Our public ones don't have programs until after Christmas though. Also you might see if there is a local SAHM group on meetup. Glad to hear you're doing better.

Colorful that is so great! I recently met a mama online to hang out with...She is 27 w/ 20mo old. She has been feeling very lonely as well and is looking for an exercise parter. Turns out she is only 1mile from me so me her and baby are gonna stroller jog this weekend :-) I'll see how it goes. I feel good that we found each other cuz I am lonely from lack of gal pals and she just has the SAHM blues

I've heard good things about MOPS. But the group in my area costs money, which was preventing me from going (since I'm already shelling out $$ for the group at the community college). I found this new group (PEPS - might be a local thing) and it's FREE!
