Daughter decided to go vegan with me

Hi
I have been vegetarian (and vegan off and on) since I was 8 years old. A few years ago I went vegan for good and have been doing very well. This past week my husband AND 8 year old daughter decided to join me. I am nervous and excited; nervous specifically because I'm a picky eater and I really can't feed them like I feed myself. I am interested in any great book recommendations for kids or anything else that would keep the momentum going for my DD!
Thanks!

The Bite Size Vegan has a series of short videos for kids that might be right for that age. Good luck! And well done for making a family vegan!

A big thumbs-up to your family for giving this a try!

The Vegetarian Resource Group has a website about vegan nutrition for children. Vegetarian diets for children are somewhat different than for adults; parents are advised to feed their children a higher percentage of (healthy) fat in their diet: http://www.vrg.org/nutshell/kids.php

This book might be useful, as well: https://www.amazon.com/Raising-Veget.../dp/0658021559 . This particular book is co-authored by Vesanto Melina, a long-time and very reputable vegan Registered Dietitian. She is the principal author of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (the world's largest association of Registered Dietitians) position paper on vegetarian diets: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27886704
