I have 5 kids and my two oldest are teens. We homeschool so most meals are at home. The amount of time spent in the kitchen and kids looking for snacks is exhausting tongue3.gif

I do prep salad bowls and cut veggies. Some weeks I do a menu.

Just curious about how other families keep up with it all

I have three kids and they always have changing demands in dishes.I try to make a schedule of menu for complete week but their demands can't allow me to follow that schedule.

My kids are grown, but when they were young I did meal plan for dinners and have continued to.

I often cook for several meals on weekends and label and freeze portions for during the week. I'm making a big pot of split pea soup and a pot of rice now, for example, and I will freeze portions.
