have any of you developers ever used an open source shopping cart? I'm kinda starting a little business on my own and am particularly looking to find a Java based open source Cart which can run on an OC4J server and that connects to MySQL.

Do you have any ideas on a Java based cart?

Thanks

Much appreciated.

I think you were aiming a little high with this thread

AJAX is really just client-side "technology" (basically some clever Javascripting stuff) so you could still be running Java on the server side. Java on the client side in web applications has fallen a bit out of fashion I think (although my boss is pushing for it in one project ...)

Anyway, AJAX sounds like a good plan to me in general.

I no longer post here after VB was sold in 2012. (See my profile page for details.)
