this pretty much sums up the game.

I quit about 5 months ago and was going to come back for TBC, but money is tight right now.

I do want to start playing again soon.

what server you on? race/class/etc ?

"Vegetarian Aggro" on Runetotem

might still be around, who knows. found the game too tedious. have you tried playing a pure veg character ingame? how hard is that?!

Well you cant play a rogue, shaman, hunter, or druid. Because they all wear leather at some point during the game. Of course you do kill a lot of animals in the game...not to mention that I would think a warrior that wanders from town to town killing wouldnt exactly be hunting roots and berrys.

What if the wild animal attacks you first...I think in self defense, all is fair...as long as you don't eat it after...:-)

Errr I must revive this thread because I just started playing WoW and it has CONSUMED MY SOUL!! I love this game. I'm only a level 15 gnome mage (major n00b) but I'm working my way up to bigger and better things. I can't even imagine being a vegetarian in the game, I'm sure it's possible though.

I'm Saraton on Garithos, so send me a little "hi"!

*bump*

i've got a 70 gnome mage Gnorma and a 40 human priest Tarynn, both on Uldaman. I also have my own guild, El Pollo Diablo, which is completely not serious at all.

Okay, bumping this old thread again.

I just started playing yesterday, and I love it! New addiction, I think.

I find I'm having a hard time killing wolves and stuff for quests, even though it's just a game. . . All those cute little pixels! I'm thinking I'll have to get over that, if I actually want to level.

Rock on! My mage is only level 5, but I'm planning on taking advantage of the cold Midwestern winter to remedy that.

It was hard for me to kill the "cute little pixels" too, although once you die in their honor it's a bit easier. :P

Haha so I actually have a 67 druid (ally) on Garithos... mages are too hard.

I has talking cow. That's why I like the game. It has talking cows in it.

I feel kind of bad killing the imaginary dogs because they cry when you hit them. It's just an amazing game though, if you haven't played it's something I think everyone should see. Just because it's so pretty and the details are just insane. I always look at entertainment things from the point of view of someone doing the work, so this one just blew me away. I mean holy crap.

Also I think it's good for us old farts to take up things like this from time to time to keep us youngish. But I mostly play because of the talking cow thing and the dancing and stupid jokes. Actually I'm gonna log in now that I'm thinking on it.

Strange but true: When I started playing the game, I drove myself crazy trying to figure out how to act veggie in WOW. I figured I go with a NightElf Druid since he actually turns into animals was most fitting, but could not find people like minded.

So somewhere in WOW my druid is sleeping and dreaming of a VeggieClan.

i used to play over a year ago but quit because it was so addictive and not the most constructive use of my time. i could waste an entire weekend in a chair surrounded by mtn dew and chips. ahh, but it was so much fun at the time.

i had a 68 human priest, a 67 NE rogue, and a 60 NE hunter. i would love to get back into it, but it takes so much time to get anything good.

^^Definitely. I'm on a break to get out of the addiction, I've wasted too much time on it when I could be putting together my portfolio... among other things...

I plan on going back, though I'm going to limit my playing time.

I enjoy playing, but I'm not addicted. I don't play unless I've finished everything else "real" that I have to do, and I'll not play for days without feeling twitchy about it. I do feel somewhat obligated to check in with relative frequency to make sure no one in my guild needs anything then the other officers can't handle. but I can check in for a few minutes, then go back to life. It's a nice completely brainless way to shut off for a while.

My horde mage is on Frostwolf, guild leader of a 1-man guild named after a buddhist ideal. I'd give my toon name but would prefer The Eye of Sauron/Google not make the connection between veggie boards and that other identity. PM me if you're interested in grouping! I'm only level 39.
