Whee! Saving up money for a new Mac Mini *or a used iBook, whichever I can afford first, cause I want both. :3* But more likely the Mini, cause I want a desktop to replace the one I had to sell a year ago. So I'm bouncy. I've seen that there other Mac users in this forum, and it makes sense. A healthy body AND a healthy computer. :3

Macs are the vegetarians of the computer world! ^____^

Love my iBook! If I was switching from a PC to a Mac now, I'd probably start with the Mini Mac instead of an iMac.

I'm not a mac owner, but I don't have anything against them like so many PC users (I don't care what your "tool" of choice is, just so long as you can still do good work with it.)

That said, would you consider ordering from an online place? You might also see if there are any used or refurbished dealers in your area. The other option is to see if there is a payment plan for buying a new one. The following is my google results for "used macs" discount online

Personally, I wish Be OS hadn't stopped building their computers; they would have beaten up on PC's bigtime!

Have a merry time getting that mini-mac
