I went looking for an old post and got caught up reading these two threads:

https://www.veggieboards.com/boards/s...ad.php?t=34929

https://www.veggieboards.com/boards/s...ad.php?t=51418

So how about it? What are those little things that drive you crazy? It doesn't have to make logical sense or be remotely "important."

I like it when a guy is just bashful enough to be a fun challenge for me. There's something to be said for a man who doesn't let it all hang out for just anybody.

Men who use their middle names. (As in, the first name is an initial on his business card.)

Men who can fix just about everything except for the few things I can.

-When a woman is trying to figure something out and she gets a confuzzled look on her face.

-When a woman is just waking up for the day.

-Women that game.

The only one that pops into my head right now and has always been a big thing for me is when a guy really likes cats. My ex wasn't too fond of them so that was always weird. It's wonderful if the guy loves animals in general, but definitely cats.

I'll have to think of some more.

love of animals ... that gets me every time ...

the traits I find 'oddly sexy' in women are different than what I find 'oddly sexy' in men ...

dreads - both genders ... primarily on Af. Am. folks

someone who is hot in a funky or original way but either doesn't know it or acts like they don't know it

short hair and glasses on women

long hair on men

stubble on men ... tend to not like the cleanshaven look

don't normally like men dressing up but my current guy - when he dresses up like for a job interview and I normally see him in just jeans boots and tshirt, that's sexy

guys who don't know how to fix things

guys who cry

so I guess these aren't all in the 'oddly' category ... but they're a good start for me : )

Guys (ore more so, 'guy' hehe) that are feminine. Not a complete sissy, but you know, those who aren't afraid to cry.

And he has to be weird, too....

Maybe it's not weird but guys who smell good. That's one of the biggest for me.

Did you link the right thread there? (the second one)

Oops. Thank you, Jen. I fixed the link. Turns out I left off the "8" at the end of the thread number.

I can think of a lot of things that are sexy, but I don't think any of them are considered to be odd.. what is odd?

As in, it may not be something the majority considers sexy, like seductively-designed swimsuits.

My husband has an occasional stigmatism that causes him to look a tad cross eyes for just a minute, and it really turns me on! How's that for weird?

I'm fixated on Chance's hands. I didn't have a thing for hands before I met him but now I like to watch them an insane amount.

I also really like his shoulders, and belly.

Detaching a pipe from a vacuum cleaner and shouting in it.

Okay I just made that up but it would really be hot.

I really like the way my guy just randomly acts like a complete dork.

He just gets really silly, and it drives me nuts every time! (in the good way!!)

He's got this little silly dance that he does sometimes. That makes me very happy.

Funkified is your chick, when she's here, which is expostumously rather seldomly these days.

I like Nature Girls too... bring it on.... btw, Funkified has taken care of

turtles at times in her life and that, they are kind of reptilian (not ninja turtles though).

You'll love Funkified, as you can see, I am a follower of the kickass anti-hero.

Praise to Funkified, amen.

I don't know if glasses are considered odd, but I just love them. There's just something about a guy in glasses.

Oh, and pale/scrawny guys who look like they've spent too much time in their basement playing video games.

Hmmm, i really like it when someone is cool and calm and confident with their own quirks, lie they dont go shouting it to te world for acceptance but there comfortable with it, for example, one friend has a quirk where they need even numbers on the stereo or when watching movies etc, its quirky and really attractive and is always funny and cute, really tho i like rugged slightly unkept men...mmmmmm

I was reading this thread and thinking I didn't have anything that "odd" to mention, until this example actually got my attention. Oddly, I'm not really as into women in swimsuits or bikinis as most guys. To me, a woman who is fully clothed in something that's suggestively tight or just a little skimpy is sexier than a woman actually showing her body in something very skimpy.

When my boyfriend says "ok, I'll try it..."

"It" being my awesome vegan food. He's a pizza, soda, wtf is lettus? guy.

But that's not weird.

Odd traits in other people... hmm.

Women who wear workout pants/shorts (preferably with no underwear). I do that, but it's hot on others. I was so bad in gym class in HS.

Guys who are scruffy and "skuzzy" looking.

Barefootness. I don't have a fetish but when I see handsom/pretty people in the summer with no shoes or socks I want to follow them around.

Long thin happy trails... on guys. Hehheh.

Certain accents,

self-deprecating humor, or befuddlement. Niles Crane on Frasier is a good example of the latter, Hugh Grant (like in 4w&f) is a good combination of accents and self-deprecating humor.

I agree, and I have that look. My mom is always saying "You're so lucky not to need makeup" and I tell her "I'm so smart not to USE makeup."

People are especially amazed when they ask "how I do my hair". I'm like, "Um.. shampoo?". I love my hair and I love organic natural shampoo.
