I have been vegetarian for over 8 years, Vegan for about 5, I have never met a vegetarian my age..:-(

I've lived back and forth from NY and Florida most of my life. (mom lived in Daytona, Dad lived in Buffalo) The only reason I am here in NY is for my Grandkids. (I'm still working on getting my son to move his family to Florida, or anywhere but here) this is the most depressing area to live.

I loved living in Florida also, happiest time of my life. my only source of happiness now is spending time with my Grandkids...they are my sunshine now...;-)) other than that ..pure loneliness..:-(

Nope. I'm one day older than you.

Maybe the people that posted in this thread in the beginning are no longer part of VB because they're too busy having "sexy times"?

Somehow, I doubt it.

I don't think we've ever had two people in this thread or its predecessors who were anywhere near each other geographically, in age, and the correct gender/orientation for each other. I know the closest women I've seen to me are more than 3 hours driving time away.

Southeast part of Florida. We actually have a few Floridians here, but most are in the central parts of the state, 3-4 hours drive from me.

True but there have been some VB romances with people that didn't post in this thread.

Four more days and we will have to make a new thread. May Good luck come to us in the New Year, and our bad luck of old, become the stepping stone to new love untold. Seems a bad line, but life goes on lol.

If I recall correctly, all of the VB romances happened because people got to know each other and interacted "normally", not because they were interested in someone based on a matchmaking profile.

Yeah, I think this is a really weird thread. What does someone's name, age and diet tell you about a person, as distinguished from all the other people who have likewise provided their name, age and diet? Is the point of this thread that people can check the person's other posts from this forum, the post in this thread being just a way to announce that they wanna get a partner?
