and also everyone we have a pack of cat treats that says best by march 13 is it okay if i keep on using it until the end of the month?
and also when i i try to empty the cans for the cats there always stays food in the can that i can't get out of the can is that okay or is it bad?
Thank you very much
I love my kitties....... maybe just a hair less on days like today. You see, today was 'make the cat food day' and my cats are on a raw food diet. The more I eat plant based, the less appealing the process of making their food becomes. BUT cats eat meat, and I feel that it's best for them if I feed them closest to what they'd eat in the wild.
I have a black cat (solid; not a single white hair any where on him) and black and white long-haired kitty and a Russian Blue. While I love all my "children" equally, my silver/grey kitty holds a special place in my heart.
AND there's a kitty outside that seems to think he lives here. I just moved into this house a year ago, so it's possible that this was his home at some point. He seems well fed and is friendly, so I don't think he's a stray. But I'll keep an eye on him anyway. If he starts looking too thin, I'll put out food and contact a cat rescue.
I have to other kitties as well. Two brothers named Goku and Vegeta. Vegeta is very energetic and loving and loooooves attention.
Goku is really chilled and just likes to relax. And eat.
Luna is like that! My kitty is a rescue kitty and has separation anxiety...but she's so darn adorable when she's being annoying!

Our neighbors found Maverick when he was 5 weeks in a ditch across the street. He had been abandoned in a plastic lined cardboard box for the past two days (which included a cold and stormy night.) He had a brother or sister that had wandered out of the box and got run over. But he stayed and meowed his little butt off knowing some one would find him. Our neighbor brought him over to us because we were thinking of getting a new cat and the rest is history

This past Monday was the 24th anniversary of my adopting my cat Riley. He was fully-grown when I took him in, and I still think about him. He had long, fine, gray fur, with white in his paws, face, and chest, and calm, light tan eyes.
Even by cat standards, he was a ninja: one night he snuck outside somehow, and I didn't find him until I opened the door and found him in between the main door and the screen door.
Every time I was talking on the phone, he'd jump up on the counter beside me... but if I offered to play with him with a shoelace or wad of paper, he'd kind of ignore me.
