I know Americans have it better when it comes to purchasing veg*n vitamins, but at least there are a few brands up here that are now catering to us!!
Natural Factors Hi Potency Multi Vegetarian Formula is one I've been using for a little while. Good price ($24 for 90), great brand with excellent industry reputation, very good levels of nutrients (50 mg of entire B complex) make this a quality product. I recently discovered it's not vegan though.
Naturally Vegetarian Multivitamin & Mineral Capsules is the new brand I bought last night. Pricey ($40 for 120 capsules), & lower amounts of nutrients overall, but some very helpful additions like CoQ-10, Black Currant Seed oil & spirulina. This one is vegan, but I am not that familiar with the brand, so I'm trying it out.
There are a few others I know about
:
NuLife's Chewable Adult Multi, (around $10 for 90 I think) which I believe has honey but is otherwise veg*n; and
Progressive's multi capsules for men & women, which are veg*n, except I seem to recall there
may be bee pollen or royal jelly in there. They were around $30 for 120 I think, but don't quote me on that!!
Another choice if you want a multi & greens product all in one is the new
Greens+ Multi drink powder, although there is royal jelly & bee pollen. A 10-serving container is $26, with a larger size available.
And then there is Genestra, probably the best Canadian supplement company, which makes 2
vegan multis

:
Super Orti-Vite &
Maxum Multi-Vite. They are pricey but a very popular brand among natural health practitioners, where you may have to buy them.
At risk of sounding like the vegan police again

, I'll add that there really is no reason for a veg*n in Canada to be taking substandard vitamins like Centrum, or animal-unfriendly higher quality vitamins.
BTW- my naturopath & nutritionist both say
everyone needs a multi in today's world.
