I have a pair of Vegetarian Shoes' low cut Bump safety shoe for work. I really like them, I love that they were handmade in England and the workmanship is beautiful, but the first day I wore them, the back of my ankle was bleeding from the stiff material and my feet were absolutely killing me. picking up a nice pair of insoles for them did wonders, as well as some thick socks to keep the back from digging into my ankle. I had to buy them, they were the closest thing I could find to a classy, simple work shoe with the safety toe as required in the laboratory I work in and I hate the look of most of the vegan safety sneakers that are available. when these wear out, if there isn't a new style from someone that fits the bill, i would buy them again i think.
