I was all happy, there was an article in the Health and Science section in the paper about kids being vegetarian At first I wasn't sure how it would be, because the main topic was making sure your kids eat right on a vegetarian diet, but it actually was good. It said how you should make sure your kids dont' just eat pizza, chips and soda, that they need to have grains, legumes, veggies, fruit, etc. Also, they said that kids are healthier on a vegetarian diet then what normal kids eat They even refered to non-veg people as "omnivorous" lol. They did say that people have to be careful with kids that are vegan, that they need to make sure they get enough B12. All in all, it was a pretty informative article and seemed pro-veg*n! They even defined a vegetarian as being someone who does not eat red meat, chicken, and FISH. I'll have to show my dad when he gets home
