"Cold cucumber" It was a very inspiring story. It's always nice to read about how people have made big changes in their lives.

The first half was very good, but all that talk about what the vegetarian diet lacks was completely unnecessary. A great story though.

I guess that was their disclaimer. How hard is it to say: "this is not a miracle diet. It's a lifestyle. Do your research first, people!" ?

Still, a very inspirational story. "Cold Cucumber" was funny.

Omega 3 and 6 are naturally occurring in plant foods too! I don't think it was necessary, but whatever. Some good with a little not-so-good publicity is better than none, right?

i especially like how it's a story from CNN instead of some oddball newsroom, people are more apt to respect their opinions and point of view.

Nice article. She is well known in the raw food world. It inspires me to include more raw foods in my diet.

I'm glad to see this story.

Diets like the Atkins diet which bragged about losing weight while consuming large quanities of meat always scared me. This is a great way to promote health.
