This is big news. Several years ago, when McD's demanded larger cages for its egg-laying hens, producers scrambled all over each other to comply, because they didn't want to lose that lucrative contract. Don't be surprised if pork producers start dropping gestation crates at a faster clip now so they can sell to the almighty McDs.

Now, if McDonald's supplied food, we'd all be in great shape. Or, at least, better shape then we are now.

Anytime I think I'm perfect, I remember that my cousin lives on an island, and I've never walked over to visit her.
