I wonder what else they could do though? If they really are threatening ecosystems and such.

Idk what's more disturbing the fact there's people that do these things to animals or that they do them to people as well, it makes me very sad and scared.

Maybe they could relocate the ones they manage to catch to different areas of the world where they can survive to spread them out? It sounds like the problem is that there are just too many in a small area.

This happened a few months ago, but I just saw this today and it breaks my heart.

Warning: It's disturbing to watch.

And the update is that the bird did in fact die later, as a result of the trauma.

Their preferred divine retribution was for the lawyer's spirit to move into the body of a dog, an animal considered impure by traditional Judaism.

Clearly still offended, one of the judges sentenced the animal to death by stoning by local children.

Having children do their dirty work is even more messed up.

I saw this a while back. (don't wish to watch it again) If I remember correctly, the player did it because it was the home team's unofficial mascot....

I saw it this morning. Grieves the soul. I tried to console myself by knowing that the little puppy is safe in heaven, but these sick people will pay for their deeds forever.

And it looks like the boy probably didn't make it either, though the search is still on. It wasn't even the boy's dog, it was a neighbor's. They've already found the dog's body, though I don't think it mentions it in this article. Unfortunate for the family as well as the neighbors, but it sure shows how loyal dogs are.

Rescue crews have found two boots while searching for a six-year-old boy who fell through the ice in the Rivière Noire near Upton, Que., east of Montreal along with his neighbour's dog.
Police said one of the boots belongs to Maxime, who was playing with his older brother, Alexandre, and a third child on the river bank when he fell through the ice around 5 p.m. Monday evening. The other boot belongs to Alexandre.
Alexandre and the friend were trying to pull Maxime out when a neighbour's dog jumped into the water to save the boy. The golden retriever is also missing.
"It would appear that there is a good current at that area and there is a small, thin covering of ice near the shore," Quebec provincial police spokesman Daniel Thibaudeau said Tuesday morning.
Residents asked to check property

The grandmother of the two boys said the family has not slept all night.
"We're scared for the children, and I'm also worried about [the parents]," Pierrette Maurice told Radio-Canada.
Family members joined the ground search Tuesday, but police are asking volunteers to refrain from searching too close to the icy water to prevent further accidents.
Police are also asking people who live along the river, about 80 kilometres east of Montreal, to check their property for any signs of the boy, as there's a "slim hope" the boy made it out of the river.
Thibaudeau said the six-year-old was wearing a green vest with a dinosaur on the front.
A police helicopter is being used in Tuesday's search, along with sniffer dogs.

Some rotten ******* kids set off fire works in a dogs mouth and blew its face off and the poor thing lived. And the peckers that did it are juveniles so theyre not going to pay for what they did. Now this puppy dog is going to have to live with out a mouth and these f*****g juvenile delinquents will live scott free for the rest of there lies and probably do more horrific stuf. And there have been studies that show that kids that torture animals grow up to be murderers. And they new exactly what they were doing thy new. And where did children get fireworks and lighters from? This appauls me. Im so upset and it lived ts alive without a head. I hate people why would anybody want to do something like that?

NSFW (Don't click on the link if you get queesy. The pictures are very graphic and disturbing.)

A 21 year old Portland woman and her boyfriend bought a horse, shot it in the head, gutted it, and then proceeded to get naked and take pictures of herself completely inside of the horse covered in blood. No charges are being brought against them.
Jasha Lottin says she can't understand why people are so interested in why she bought a horse, killed it, gutted it, then posed naked for photos inside the carcass and posted them on the Internet.

"No idea why people care," she tells Seattle Weekly.

Lottin, a 21-year-old aspiring model and nudist from Portland was questioned at length by Washington County Sheriff's Deputies recently after she posted on the Internet gory photos of herself naked inside a horse that she bought, shot, gutted, posed naked inside of, and ultimately ate.

Joshua Washburn, a North Carolina man, had come across the pics online at the website 4chan and reported them to deputies.

Those sheriff's deputies recently concluded that no animal abuse had been committed and therefore no laws had been broken.
Sad to say that this happened in my hometown

I dont know how much truth was in this story. It might have just been said for the wow factor but this kid that i work with said his grandpa used to take stray cats and kittens and throw them in a hole in his yard deep enoughthat there heads still stuck out and them he would run overthem with the lawnmower. What the **** is wrong with people? If a cat was friendly enoughthat they came up to him that they could catch it than it was a nice friendly cat. Why would you do something like that and why do people hate cats so much and why didnt anyone call the cops? If i saw my neighbor mowing the lawn and blood spattered everywhere id be finding put what was going on and calling the cops. Again another reason i hate people. Its one thing to hate cats but to do some of these brutal discusting thigs that a hole nother level.

Nottingham Crown Court heard that Littlewood had run the 24-acre farm off Goosedale Lane single-handedly. He has now started a year-long jail sentence after admitting 12 offences. Conditions were so disturbing at the farm that animals were found to be feeding on the dead remains of other beasts.
