Bah, they always have to try to fight change don't they?

I doubt Oda will be successful though, encouraging cat decapitation or clubbing is never going to go over well with the public. The comments from local residents are pretty overwhelmingly on our side, and that's positive.

Using a bow and arrow is humane?! Some jerk last May tried to shoot a goose with an arrow. It didn't go in all the way and was stuck in the poor thing's shoulder, which the guy did nothing about. Luckily, the goose happened to meet a vet and was saved.

Also, clubbing doesn't sound that humane, either. This is a stupid law. I hope it doesn't pass.

"Oda said a humane killing would be any method that caused the least amount of suffering. Shooting is singled out as an acceptable method in his bill, but Oda said other means that would be allowed include using a bow and arrow, clubbing or decapitating some animals."

This person is officially insane.

That's so sick and twisted I thought the story had to be from the satirical Onion. How sad I was wrong.
In Ohio it's common to hear of animals seen with arrows stuck in them, domestic and wild, as well as bullets and shot.
When will people realize violence towards animals is the beginning of cruelty to all?

Sometimes I'll read something in the news that boggles my mind so much that I think I've read it wrong or that maybe I'm dreaming. This is one of those times. None of those methods seem very humane at all.
