This is such a popular show. It will be interesting to see how he promotes his new lifestyle. Hopefully it will convince more people to give it a try.

Looks like he's vegetarian, not vegan, but still interesting.

Yeah, there was a thread a while ago about Jillian's flip-flop on veg*ism.

There was an interview where she was super against it, then a year or two later, another interview where she was promoting it.

I have watched a couple seasons of this and I did notice that they've never had a veg contestant (that I'm aware of.)

It would be nice if they start promoting vegetarianism on this show, because I know for a fact that a lot of people get their inspiration for weight loss from this. I used to go to weight watchers meetings a few years ago, and people were always chatting about the show - they loved it!

I thought he was vegan! On his twitter page he promotes vegan cheese, especially Vegan Rella, and rice and almond milk

Very cool!

I hope he gets to spread the message about the benefits of a vegetarian diet on the program. The only "Diet" that works is one you can maintain lifelong, vegetarianism fits that category perfectly.

Jillian's book is quite anti-soy.

One of the quotes is, if it didn't have a mother, I won't eat it, or something gross like that. Ugh.

Still cool that he promotes it. Perhaps it will inspire others to try it out.
