I also like old-fashioned oatmeal. It's chewy and hearty and yum-yum-yummy!
I cook it according to the package directions, then when it is done, I throw a handful of frozen blueberries in the pan & put the lid on. While the berries warm up, I mash up a banana in my bowl, toss in some chopped walnuts, pour the oatmeal in & stir it all up. If I really want sweetness, I might put in a spoonful of maple syrup. It's a good start to my day!
