I know that there has to be another thread somewhere, but after using the search function I couldn't come up anything.

So I'm calling out to all the great cooks here, if you have a recipe that you wouldn't mind sharing, I would so appreciate any help.

I'm open to about any suggestions, but prefer something tried n' true, if at all possible.

Thanks for your help!

You can make seitan into anything. Imade it into "Hot Wingz" in a cooking calss I had. They're un-freakin-believably good. Here's that post with a picture:

All it is is water and seitan, mashed up a bunch and then shaped into nuggets. Then you have to *simmer* (not boil) them for an hour in vegan "chicken" broth, drain, bread and fry em. Then smother them in sauce or don't if you just want nuggets. If you need better directions let me know

is shake-n-bake veg*n? i reckon that kinda thing, and other familiar accompanying dips and whatnot, would probably help make something seitan-y or tofu-y feel authentic.

Thanks, for the link! Much appreciated!

I didn't think about searching for *chicken* nuggets, I was typing in meatless nuggets, or chik'n nuggets, durh!

You make it sound so easy. But seitan scares me!

I even have some vital wheat gluten to make some, but have been afraid to try it.

I know, I know, don't fear the seitan!

Your Satan Wingz look so good though!
