I take it as peanut butter. I like to keep mine in the fridge anyways, but I don't think it's necessary. I could be wrong though. (Another reason I like to keep it in the fridge - better safe than sorry.)
Sesame butter and tahini and can be found in jars or cans. Once opened, they should be kept refrigerated to prevent rancidity. If kept in a tightly sealed jar in the refrigerator, sesame butter will keep for up to three months.
