Here are photographs of the tangy beet borscht, plump potato piroshkis, and sweet and spicy tomato sauce I made today. Add pictures of your food porn (doesn't even have to be something you've made, just something vegetarian), so that we can all get off together here.

Oh man, those look good~

I wish my digital camera worked better, I can make some mean tasty dishes, and they usually look pretty darn good, too! I'd love to contribute, maybe I'll be able to in a month or two... Keep it up!

Looks delicious! Someone's having fun with her new camera, too.

This has been in my photo gallery for awhile but it's so tasty it's worth trotting the photo out again. It's a bowl of kham amdo thukpa, my favorite Tibetan dish.

rabid_child, all of your desserts are so pretty! i rarely take the time to glam up my meals but it's somehow more satisfying when you do.

borealis, that soup looks amazing. i see it has tofu in it, but what else?

eva, the swan is gorgeous. did you make it? is it an apple? or a potato?

this is what my table looked like when i hosted a dessert party back in the spring to celebrate a couple of friends' birthdays. there was vegan chocolate mousse (made with 12 oz of pure chocolate), a double layer pineapple upside down cake, a quadruple layer chocolate cake, and a huge plate of peanut butter chocolate chip cookies.

This is a triple layer vanilla almond cake that I made for my boyfriend's birthday. I served it with strawberry sauce (not pictured). The recipe was from Kreeli's website!

Thanks for that piroshki info, Kreeli.

BTW, I made the pineapple upside down cake recipe from you site for a friend's birthday. That particular friend is very vegan intolerant, but she sure snarfed down that delicious cake!

I'm sorry, I don't have the recipe! I wish I did. I have to go to Anyetsang's Little Tibet, my favorite restaurant, to get it.

Besides tofu, it has dumplings, daikon, tomato, green onion, cilantro... um, I'm not sure what else. The best part is the broth. I should bribe Anyetsang to give me the recipe!

Eva-bo-beva, that swan is the cutest thing.

I've been baking today but I don't think my cookies are quite food porn. Angry villagers burned the first two batches.

Chinese almond cookie!

I found this recipe and modified in to vegan

1 1/2 cups flour

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

egg replacer for 1 egg

1/2 tsp almond extract

1/2 cup chopped blanched almonds

1/2 cup oil

Combine all dry ingredients; cup in butter, add egg replacer, add extract, and chopped almonds. Blend well. Shape a teaspoon of batter into a flat circle, top with an almond and bake at 325 degrees for approximately 20 minutes.

Oh man!!!! - I wish I could go! ($12 + $700 plane fare would be too steep)

Are you going Freemouse?

Can anyone go? (thinking my parents might be game if it's open to the public - they live in Waialua)

If so - can you give me contact info?

Thanks!
