Hahah, as a matter-of-fact, TnS was just here picking up her kids and left me a big ol' bowl of the stuff. I'm considering getting into it before supper.

I really enjoy Vegannaise, almost as much or more than regular mayo, actually. (And I thought nothing could ever beat Hellman's.) My local health food store and veg*n deli (A Natural Harvest, Chicago) makes delicious sandwiches using Vegannaise. I even bought a jar to try to make things at home. It's really one of the best vegan products that I've tried.

Veganaise is to mayonaise as Nayonaise is to Miracle Whip (in case your a fan on one over the other)

sa-weet! you're right, found it in the cold section hopefully i got the right one. there were 3 different one's. then a few steps to the right were all the Earth Balances. they all had different packaging, but basically the same ingredients, so i just grabbed the middle one i haven't cooked with mayo or butter in 100 years, so never really looked for these items before..

I have to say- the other day I bought a brand new jar of Vegenaise and it's huge and new and perfect! And I have two gynormous artichokes from Trader Joe's to dip into my Heavenly Vegenaise. I swear, the hearts in these artichokes are the size of an entire small artichoke.

By the way, I really wish someone would try the artichoke dipped in Vegenaise with Trader Joe's 21 Seasoning Salute. It's SOOOO good and artichokes are SOOO good for you. I think you'd love it to bits!

Another Veganaise lover. I shudder to think back to the days before it was available and I had to use Nayonnaise. But then I didn't know how bad it was until I tasted Veganaise. One thing though, all 3 varieties of Veganaise taste the same to me.

I bought some to make Asian pear, tempeh salad thing from V-con. It was really hard to not eat it straight out of the jar. Just to broaden my condiment horizons I'm giving the Trader Joe's reduced fat mayo a go.
