Since I am not eating meat I need a good substitute (will have to stat eating more beans).

I got a nut mix that contained many nuts that I found were to be good on the net however 80% of the mix is of those green seed things and there was only 1-2 of those big ones (sorry, I do not know my nuts)

Is it better to buy a separate bag of each and mix them together yourself so you can get an equal amount of each?

If yes, what nuts/seeds to you include?

Thanks

make sure that the nuts you buy are NOT roasted!

and I'd buy them separate, myself.

You may have green pumpkin seeds..? but raw cashews are good, raw almonds..

You'll just have to try them to see if you like them

You can buy a lot of 1 lb. sizes of nuts, grains, legumes from www.bulknuts4you.com - great sales every couple of weeks. You might want to sign up for newsletters/sales info. on the homepage (top right). This way you can try them in smaller quantities first. They also have trail mixes already made up, etc.
