What is a good, relative cheap wine that does not use isinglass or any other animal products in the clarification process? I live in the USA.

Yellowtail Merlot, Cabernet and Shiraz are vegan and you can get a bottle for about $7. For that price it's a decent wine but don't expect anything spectacular. That's one that I can think of off the top of my head.

Check out this website for more vegan wines

You'll have to do some homework to see what's available at your local liquor store. There's so many different varieties of wine out there that I find it next to impossible to keep track of what's vegan. I'll admit it's one of the areas I'm not as strict.

I have to admit, wine and other alcoholic products I really hadn't thought of before this thread. Makes me wonder if the wine I drink all the time is vegan, although I mostly drink vodka. I suppose I should go do some research!
