Ok, I just found out that due to a new medication, I can no longer have soy products. I am really concerned about getting enough protein, but I'm not sure what other sources there are that I can reasonably eat on a daily basis. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Are you vegan or vegetarian?

peanut butter and beans of course, and whole grains can have a ton of protein.

SEITAN! Hello, my name is Megan, and I am a seitan pusher.

Seitan is not soy, has more protein than tofu, and has more texture and flavor too. It's easy and cheap to prepare at home, or you can buy it premade in the grocery store. You can ground it up to replace ground meat or make "meat" loafs, or slice it for stir fries or fajitas. Obviously, I highly recommend it!

Most all veggies have plenty of protein...meat eaters get WAAAYYY too much!

We have been brainwashed to think we need more protein than we really do, when in fact low protein diets are lots healthier!

Just eat a good variety of veggies and you'll be all set!

Read 'The China Study'...

^^^ She's right, ya know.

I have recently had this... profound love affair with seitan.

Now, if some non-vegans heard what I just said spoken out loud...
