I made yellow saffron rice with my friend once and it turned out perfectly and was really good. But i've tried it again by myself a few times and it sucked...a lot. I followed the directions but it still ends up too watery or dry and sticky, does anyone know how to make it without it sucking? I'm usually good with cooking rice but this just isn't working. I have a craving for yellow rice and beans because I watched a really old cheesy movie from the early 90's called sweet 15 and whenever I watch it I get a craving for beans and rice....

What's the recipe you use? Or if you don't use a recipe, tell us how you make it from step 1 to finished product.

I'd say just do whatever you usually do when you cook rice... just add a pinch of saffron and turmeric to the water when you cook it. That's my "recipe" for yellow rice...

Well I tried it again and it turned out perfectly, I didn't use as much water this time I guess. I was so certain that it wouldn't turn out very good again that it surprised me and cooperated. I was using this kind http://www.mahatmarice.com/mahatmari...roductid=10505
