We have diabetic icecream in the freezer and my mum said she got it because it ws sutibale for vegans

not cos i'm diabetic.

Anyway it's "Franks diabtic icecrema"

i read the ingridents

and one of them was

"Semi-Skimed Milk Powder" ..... i've been told by my mum (not a very reliable source) that it isn't proper milk/made from milk etc though she could by telling the truth .

She also said that in the freezzer where it was it said it was suitable for vegans

or something like that....

So is it ok to eat or not....

and she's brought me veggie buger and they have Flipping egg in em ...

blah.

Oh well..... i'm gonna go shopping for myself tomrow so i know all the stuff

is vegan/

Milk powder is indeed from cows' milk, and so unfortunately that ice cream is not vegan.

You should check out "So Delicious" soy ice cream!

I think your mom got confused. The sign must have said 'suitable for vegetarians', not vegans. If it has skim milk powder then it is dairy, and is suitable for vegetarians, but not for vegans

Swedish Glace. Its amazing! You can get it in most decent-sized supermarkets. I have tried Tofutti too, but I thought it was horrible.

Nut cutlets and bean burgers are often vegan.

Raspberry flavoured Swedish Glace (try Sainsbury's, Waitrose or Holland & Barrett) or sorbet (the Waitrose near me sold a good one but I can't find it on their website, since it was a local brand). I like nut cutlets too and I don't think they contain egg
