veganaise

on whole wheat.

Bonoluvr hate to burst your bubble but there's nothing strange about your sandwich ;-) Lots of places make similar sandwiches at least around here ;-) I agree, thats a nice cool sandwich ;-)

My favorite "weird" sandwiches:

-peanut butter and pickles ;-)

-any sandwich with either cheese balls or potato chips inside it

When I was still L/O, I would occasionally eat chunky peanut butter, mayo & dill pickle sandwiches. At the time, I liked them but now just thinking about it kind of makes me gag.

Very poor man's Muffeletta:

Sour dough with mayo and green olives. I actually love this sandwich.

If you come from the South, you'll realize this one's not real strange: BBQ Tofu with kale slaw (inspired by the pulled pork with coleslaw sandwiches I used to eat).

on a toasted english muffin

chunky peanut butter

banana

fluff ( if you people don't know what it's is, it's basically spreadable mashrmallows ... no gelatin)

and potato chips

i am afraid to try it but she won the contest... so i guess i'll HAVE TO try it

When I was a kid, my absolute favorite sandwich was peanutbutter mixed with pineapple cottage cheese on whole grain bread.

Seriously, it was GOOOOD! If I wasn't vegan I'd still eat it!

Applesauce and peanutbutter - eaten open-face like a sloppy joe.

My (L/O) kids' favorite: Grilled pepperjack cheese with black olives.

My current favorite:

Marmite, tomato, hummus and sprouts on sourdough.

Maybe we should change the thread title to the

"read here if you want to induce vomiting thread"

chocolate spread and pickled onion.

I haven't had this since I was about 13. I loved it then. I think using vegan dark chocolate spread it would be even nicer actually. But I think it HAS to be white bread to work well. I never really buy white bread anymore.

I guess I could make an exception.

1.avocado spread on one side

2.hummus spread on the other

3.sprouts

4.tomato

5.spinach

6.cucumber

7.sauteed mushrooms

serve it with chips or soup or both! yummmmers

Oh, I forgot my daughter's invention:

Marmite on sourdough bread with veggie "bacon" strips, onions and pickles.

Salt, salt and more salt...

It's good though
