So I'm having a hard time making a shopping list for this week, I want to try some new things but I am not really sure what, so I thought I would get some ideas from you guys. What are your staples every week- or even just things you are currently in love with?

On a weekly basis, I buy eggs, tofu, tempeh, yoghurt, cheese and fresh fruits and vegetables. Partially because I don't have a car and partially because I just find it convenient, I tend to stock my freezer and pantry every month or two when I'm renting a car to go out of town. Then I stock up on pasta, flours (I make my own bread), shelf stable soy milk, canned beans, tomatoes and fruit, frozen fruit and vegetables (corn, peas, and blueberries mostly), rice, dried beans, dried fruits, nuts (kept in the freezer), etc.

We usually go shopping every two weeks. The things that I buy the most often are: eggplant, apples, oranges, grapes, potatoes, rice, salad, salad dressing, lemons, cucumber, mushrooms, green onions, sweet onions, broccoli, artichokes, avocado, tomatoes, cauliflower, asparagus, snow peas, zucchini, sunflower seeds, corn, green beans, kiwi, couscous, water chestnuts, hummus, pita bread, Luna bars, bread, peanut butter, blueberry preserves, pasta, Snapple peach iced tea, tomato soup, Gardenburgers, and MorningStar veggie crumbles.

Some good ideas thanks! I'm going grocery shopping at whole foods this weekend and I'm excited that I'll actually be able to find some of this stuff haha... sometimes regular grocery stores just don't cut it- but whole foods is too expensive to shop at every week!

A couple of things that I bought at Cost Plus last night were polenta and Bonavita vegetarian pate. Yummy!
