I thought it might be a good idea to have a section for people who are trying to get more raw food into their diet. I know the holidays can be a tricky time so I thought we could share recipes/ideas here. My Thanksgiving and Christmas in 2005 were both all raw and it was surprisingly easy. It just took a while to figure out what I wanted to make and the preparation took a bit of planning. After that, it was smooth sailing and the food was fabulous.

So, if anyone has ideas/pictures/recipes/questions, I guess this is the thread for it.

Could you maybe post your menu? I'm really interested in going raw eventually.

ah. ok, sorry it took so long for me to answer.

christmas was pretty simple for me. i didn't focus too much on food and i ate most of the same stuff throughout the day.

for breakfast, i had made strawberry crepes and a big fruit salad.

for lunch/munching on through out the day, i had more of the fruit salad, plus i made flax seed crackers with avocado chutney dip. i also had a big veggie tray out with homemade raw onion dip. i also made some raisin ginger cookies. everyone else had some of the food, as well, and they surprised how good it was.

i can't remember what i had for dinner. i may have had some more of the strawberry crepes or i might have made a green smoothie.
