There is this easy and tasty cantaloupe soup recipe that I've made before. It's served cold and it might go nicely with the pot pie.
**The only thing is you might need more bowls to serve it in. You could however put it in a large bowl with a ladel and have everyone scoop it out and put it into a nice glass (you would still eat it with a spoon, although I guess it could be drank right out of the glass, but maybe not when guests are there!.)
4 Ripe small cantalopes
6 oz. orange juice concentrate
1/2 teasp. Cinnamon
Mint sprigs (optional for garnish)
I usually just make it according to taste and ignore the amount of ingredients the recipe calls for.
Throw it in the blender on puree. Chill and serve.
