Vegan "butter"

You might also want to check on vitamin D.

Vitamin D3 is animal derrived, but they hardly state which vitamin D they use.

Make sure the Earth Balance is in a tub; the stick form has whey.

5th it

I used to be hooked on Willow run margarine, but the guy at Whole foods told me they stopped carrying the brand since it had hydrogenated oils in it. It was rather salty! Anyways I found it later at peoples market..hmm.makes ya wonder doesn't it?

If you're on a budget and couldn't give a flying f%$# about hydrogenated oils, pick up some nucoa margarine.

Come on now ebola ...hydrogenated oils are well known for increasing your risk of cancer, increasing your LDL cholesterol and decreasing your HDL cholesterol levels, lowered immune response, AND they interfere with your body's ability to use essential fatty acids (which is definately a problem for vegetarians)..that's something I give a flying #@%* about.

Soy Garden is a good one too, in case y'all aren't finding Earth Balance. It's also non-hydrogenated & vegan as far as I can tell. As is Smart Balance LIGHT (regular Smart Balance isn't).

Well, I care, but for those who don't, nucoa is the way to go.

Hell, I very rarely use margarine.

I never disliked Spectrum, which is vegan, but Earth Balance is the best.
