Hey guys, I'm making https://www.veggieboards.com/boards/s...ad.php?t=25814 and I was just about to throw it in the oven BUT I just realized I'm totally out of veg boullion. There is no possible way for me to get to the store right now. What can I do for a substitution? Please, someone come to my rescue!

Ohh, do you have some miso? maybe make some miso sauce? or juice a bunch of veggies and use that. tomato or veggie soup broth?

wait, now that i read it i take it you already added the water. what about adding herbs (marjoram, sage, tarragon, thyme) and some garlic? and salt.

If you have some poultry seasoning, just use that. It will add a bit of sodium, but you won't have to salt it after.

Otherwise spice it up anyway you like and skip the broth all together. I really don't think that small amount will be missed.

I hope you like the recipe!

Thanks, it looks so good in the pan! I can't wait to devour it.

I appreciate the advice guys. I'll do the poultry seasoning. How much should I use?

Do you have any fresh veggies? You can make a stock and use that.

use a tsp instead of a T so you don't salt yourself to death, then call it a day

'Poultry Seasoning' in my house is just green stuff like ground sage... it isn't salt at all. In fact it says 'sage, marjoram and rosemary' and that's it... it would still be good though I think.

Water with a splash of red or white wine and some soy sauce works as a good broth sub too.
