Can you all suggest some healthy vegan snacks I can keep at my desk? I hate dried fruit, it just tastes wrong and sticks to my teeth. So I may be outta luck...

luna bars, clif bars, granola bars (check ingredients first), baggies of granola or dried cereal. also fresh fruit - apples and similar things are fine kept out of the fridge for a little while, and of course bananas don't need refrigeration. even a lot of sandwiches could be find out of the fridge for a few hours, esp since I guess you mean your desk at work, and it's prob air conditioned there?

Yeah it's at my office and it's air conditioned. I was just thinking of stuff I could keep here all the time. Granola bars are YUM, but luna and cliff are too expensive.

almonds, whole wheat pretzels or crackers, vegan cereal bars, a jar of peanut butter and some crackers...

raw veggies and hummus or a nutbutter

pita or tortilla chips (read the ingredients - be sure to get baked/all-natural or organic kinds)

Nature Valley granols bars (I LOVE these)

rice cakes

trail mix (whatch the portions tho)

almonds or other nuts (when they're on sale and cheap!)

you could bring those soup cups (the one's you just add water too) for a hearty snack!

dried cereal

I agreee w/ the granola bar suggestion, too



if you have a fridge:



packs of pb and celery (if you can find them)

apples/bananas/peaches/other fruit that will keep for awhile

hummus with pita bread or crackers

individual packs of soymilk-or just bring a full container and bring a mug
