Why oh why would they do this without asking me? I just ate my first Luna bar with "less sugar". I noticed the package was different but didn't think much of it. Then I took a bite and knew something was wrong. So I re-examined the package and saw they reduced the sugar. It wasn't worth it. A little sugar splurge is ok! Have you guys tried any of your favorites since they changed?
The only ones they have in my city is Nutz over Chocolate so that is all I have eaten. It was very noticable to me. The chocolate tastes more bitter to me now. Kind of like coffee. I don't like coffee.
Oh no! I saw these and was afraid to try them, loving Lunabars the way they were. But from you guys are saying I had good reason to be afraid. I guess I'll have to take the jump and try them myself.
I got my free small luna bar sample in the mail today!! Its the new ones with less sugar/more fiber.... and I'm gonna have to agree. It tastes a lot more fake now, and chalky. I didn't like it very much. eh.
I have now eaten my third sugar reduced luna bar. I am getting more used to them. They still aren't delicious like before but they taste less fake as I eat more. Perhaps it will be an acquired taste
I've still seen the old ones around. I'm pretty sure they're still making the traditional ones in certain flavors. I really didn't notice a difference, though. I'm a fiber freak add anything with a little more fiber sounds good to me.
I just tried the new ones in the Nutz Over Chocolate flavour and I have to say, I think they're way better than the old ones! It tasted more peanutty and less sickly-sweet.
I finally tried the new ones and I have to say I couldn't notice a difference at all. I never would have known they were different if I didn't know from here.
