I prefer to buy organic fruits and veggies, but in Japan it's basically impossible, as they are insanely expensive. For example, I saw an organic pear for 400 yen (about $4). I just can't afford that. So, what's the best way to remove pesticides from fruits and vegetables? Are there any special washes I could make?

I don't usually wash mine. If I did it would just be in water.

Water with a little white vinegar will do the trick.

I wash my fruit and veggies with "Veggiewash," I buy it in my healthfood store. It smells like lemons and is all natural and organic! Ohterwise, if I'm out of veggiewash I just soak my green veggies in salt water for a few minutes to kill the worm eggs.
