Need menu ideas

Hey everyone, I'm planning my weekly menu so I can go shopping tomorrow. but I need a few suggestions.

For Sunday I've got coleslaw on the menu but I don't know what to have with it.

Tuesday I want baked beans but again I don't know what to have with it.

And for next Thursday I want to make cornbread but it's getting to hot out to make chili. What else can you think of that goes with cornbread?

TIA for your suggestions!

When I think coleslaw, I think burgers and hot dogs. How about a barbecue?

Baked beans and grilled cheese sandwiches, maybe? Or jacket potatoes.

I'm not sure about the cornbread.
Edit: How about a traditional Southern soul food meal, like macaroni and cheese, collard greens, maybe seitan ribs?

Coleslaw made me think of Gardeins fishless fillets They were delicious but not on my budget. If they're on your's, and you can find them I soooo recommend them
If I were making coleslaw, and now I just might, I'd have tofu. Just marinated in the liquid from jalepanos and baked. Or panko breaded and lightly fried

Or-- those Old Bay patties I make. I use okara from my soy milk machine, but I'd think you could sub mashed potatoes, or cooked grits. 1 cup taters, 1 cup oats, minced veggies you'd use in crab patties (celery onion pepper) and spices you'd use. I use Old Bay. I use enough breadcrumbs to make a stiff dough and let sit in fridge. make patties and press in panko crumbs and pan fry

No whey got me thinking seitan. Haven't made that in so long.

I really like baked beans with coleslaw. I've put beans, slaw and onions in a hoagie bun before. Yummy. Chips and pickles on the side.
Have the cornbread with the baked beans
I just made rice, lentils (red and brown), peas, onions with curry spices. Sprinkled peanuts and dried cranberries

Get me some onion rings!

cornbread, turnip or collard greens, and blackeyed peas.

the coleslaw and baked beans go together, along with fake hot dogs or corn dogs

Anytime I think I'm perfect, I remember that my cousin lives on an island, and I've never walked over to visit her.
