Cereal help

Hi everyone

I live in the UK and have only been vegan for about 2 months. I eat my breakfast at work so cereal is the most practical thing. I used to eat tesco bran flakes for breakfast but I don't think these are vegan because of the vitamin D in them. I've tried muesli but really can't stand it and am not too keen on cornflakes either. For the past few weeks have been mostly eating hobnobs for breakfast which is fun but not exactly healthy. Does anyone have any suggestions for nice vegan cereals? I've searched a lot on the internet but can't really seem to find any proper information and thought you guys might have some helpful tips?

Thanks xx

How do you know the Vitamin D is not vegan? Vitamin D2 comes from plant sources and vitamin D3 comes from animal sources - does the box say Vitamin D3?

According to this UK vegan site, "Weetabix, Rice Krispies, Frosties, many brands of cornflakes, Jordan’s Country Crisp, Kelloggs Fruit ‘n’ Fibre and Just Right" are all vegan.

There's also another thread all about this here - https://www.veggieboards.com/forum/62...vegans-uk.html

Hope this helps!

It doesn't specify it just says vitamin D and they aren't on the tesco vegan food list thank you for posting that link though I think I'll give the fruit and fibre a try xx

My favorite cereal is granola with dried dates. I have to add the dates myself. You may have to search to find a granola that is all vegan, as many will contain honey.
