Great New Veggie Subway Options!

...in India. Aren't they always?

Stumbled into this on my daily blog digest:

Quote: "The four new subs include Mexican Bean Patty, Green Pea Patty, Chatpata Chana and Hara Bhara Kebab. According to the Gulri, this range will give the consumers some low-fat vegetarian options that is expected to meet the local taste preferences. “The latest debutants in the menu are prepared using a healthy mix of the best of local ingredients wrapped in freshly baked bread and topped with delicious dressings,” he added. The new subs are being launched with a new television campaign called ‘Rejoice in the Choice’ that shows the consumers’ delight in getting so many vegetarian option."

Sigh.. I've no idea what a Hara Bhara Kebab even is, but I'm pretty sure I need one right now!

Here's a recipe for Hara Bhara Kabab. My question is, is why can't these things open in Seattle, WA? :'(

Anytime I think I'm perfect, I remember that my cousin lives on an island, and I've never walked over to visit her.
