I just ran into this crazy site on thunderclap https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/9248-bitelabs-eat-celebrity-meat?locale=en. The company claims to be able to produce lab grown celebrity meat. What does that mean?
It got me thinking... Is lab grown meat vegan?
The actually start up website can be seen at bitelabs.org.
What do y'all think?

I've heard about that before, it's so bizarre! 
Personally I think the celebrity meat would be vegan because there is no exploitation and the tissue samples would be freely donated by the people. I still don't think I'd want to eat it though...

Celebrity meat, from the description, looks like it would be human meat grown in a lab. To my knowledge, eating human meat carries a host of pathological diseases associated with it...not the least of which is kuru, which is caused by mis-folded DNA and RNA strands that the body tries to use.

Yeah I'd say it's vegan if it's not harmfully exploiting animals against their will. Exploiting willing celebrities is fine.
